FILE-BY-INTERNET (FBI)

File-By-Internet (FBI), from Selima Software, is a tool that enables payroll departments to become fully compliant with HMRC requirements for filing over the internet. In brief, FBI provides the following notable features:

• Acting as a bridge to existing payroll software systems, receiving P14 and P35 related data from those software systems
   
• Constructing appropriate electronic P14 and P35 messages from the data retrieved from those payroll software systems
   
• Transmitting those electronic P14 and P35 messages to HMRC over the internet using the required security standards
   
• Receiving notifications from HMRC concerning the receipt failure, or acceptance or rejection of those electronic form-related messages
   
• Receiving electronic form-related messages (such as P6 and P9) from HMRC
   
• Transforming electronic messages between their technical format and user-viewable presentation on the user's computer screen in the style of their printed-form equivalents
   
• Managing all of these form-related messages and notifications on the payroll administrator's computer
   
• Securely managing sensitive data to prevent malicious access to or alteration of that data
