PAYROLL FOLDER |
|
This folder provides a remote view into the Payroll server(s). Here you can see all
tranferred messages and check their processing status.
Messages are placed in the Payroll folder when they are transferred to the Payroll System from either
INBOX or ARCHIVE.
Messages can also be deleted from Payroll resulting in them being silently
moved into the ARCHIVE.
As always the Drop-Down offers a list of required TAX REFERENCEs
to filter messages of interest. Messages can be further reviewed by the user
and if required, saved to the computer's filing system.
All messages within this folder are stored remotely on your organisation's
Payroll System server(s). Each TAX REFERENCE can be
configured so that its messages are directed a
specific Payroll Server server. In order to read and write messages,
the corresponding Payroll System server has to be accessible. See
Settings to learn how to associate Payroll System servers
with TAX REFERENCEs.

Tools for manipulating messages can be accessed via a set of buttons
on the toolbar and also via a Context Menu
associated with the Payroll folder's table. The context menu is invoked by pressing the right button
on the computer's mouse.
This set of buttons, and the context menu, enable the user to:
Drop-Down pops-up a list of all accessible TAX REFERENCES.
The Drop-Down expands to a pop-up window when mouse-clicked. Individual TAX REFERENCEs can be selected by clicking them.
A mouse click combined with the CTRL key enables the selection (or deselection) of
multiple TAX REFERENCEs at the same time. The pop-up window can be closed either by clicking on
the white cross inside its caption bar or pressing ESCAPE. After selection, clicking
the Refresh button populates the table with messages belonging to
the selected TAX REFERENCEs.
