SUBMIT FOLDER

Submit is a folder that enables the user to preview and validate P35 and P14s, and submit them to HMRC

The data within these P14s and P35s is extracted by FBI from an underlying Payroll System via a payroll plugin.

The Submit folder enables the User to specify a tax year and the type of forms ( P34/P14 ) they want to submit to HMRC.

Built-in Features

The set of tool buttons, and the context menu, enable the user to:

•   Refresh the table, wherein FBI talks to the underlying Payroll System via the payroll plugin and brings a summary of all available P14 or P35 data (within the required date range) into FBI, ready for review by the user in a table with one row for each message.
   
•   Open a message, wherein FBI talks to the underlying Payroll System via the payroll plugin and brings into FBI the full details of a selected P14 or P35 message, ready for review by the user in an on-screen simulation of its paper form equivalent.
   
•   Validate messages, wherein FBI asks HMRC to check the selected messages for errors, and provide feedback. Since this relies on an active internet connection it may take some time to complete. HMRC's response includes comments and details of any errors discovered within the messages, which in turn are viewable via the Validation Results screen.
   
•   Submit messages, wherein FBI asks HMRC to accept and process the submission of selected messages. Since this relies on an active internet connection it may take some time to complete. HMRC's response includes whether or not the messages were accepted. Comments and details of any errors discovered within the messages are viewable via the Sending Results screen.
