INCOMPLETE FOLDER

Incomplete is a folder that collates incompletely sent messages. These are messages which were particially but not completely sent to HMRC due to either user cancellation or some technical problem such as a computer network failure.

Built-in Features

Clicking the Incomplete button brings up a table containing summaries for the messages contained within the Incompletely sent messages folder.

Users can limit the incompletely sent messages that are presented to those within a date range of interest.

Tools for manipulating messages in this table can be accessed via a set of buttons on the toolbar and also via a Context Menu associated with the Incomplete messages table. The context menu is invoked by pressing the right button on the computer's mouse.

Individual messages within the table can be selected for manipulation by clicking on them. Multiple messages can be selected for simulatenous manipulation by using the click-and-drag features of the mouse. In combination with the CTRL key ,the user is thus able to select one or more contiguous ranges of messages at a time.

The set of tool buttons, and the context menu, enable the user to:

•   Specify Start/End Dates to limit the incompletely sent messages that are presented to those within a date range of interest
   
•   Refresh messages, wherin FBI will contact HMRC to retrieve the list of incomplete messages, and present that list in the display table This opearation is expensive since it always invokes IR procedure over Internet.
   
•   Complete submission, wherein FBI will resend the selected message to HMRC for processing
